Raymond R. Dowdle Sr., 75, of Denver, a retired sales manager for a national beverage company, died Sunday in University Hospital in Denver. He was a native of Chicago and attended Chicago Teachers College. He moved to Denver in 1967. His community activities included Junior Achievement and the Sierra Club. His brother, James C., is president and CEO of Tribune Broadcasting Co. Other survivors include his wife, Dorcas "Dee"; a son, Raymond Jr.; a sister; two other brothers; and two grandsons;. Mass will be said Wednesday in Christ the King Catholic Church in Denver.
